What is Freshman Council?
Freshman Council is a part of the Texas State University Student Government and focuses on creating a fun and exciting learning environment for Texas State freshmen who are interested in serving their fellow Bobcats. The Freshman Council prepares each class for future service in Student Government and Texas State University.

What will I do as a Freshman Council Member?
As a Freshman Council member, you will be the voice of the freshman within Student Government. You will have the opportunity to learn about Student Government and network with the current administration and senators. You will be trained on leadership and service and partnered with various groups on campus to get the full Texas State experience. The opportunities provided in Freshman Council will allow you to grow individually, expand your network, and be shaped into the next Student Government leaders.
