Branches
The Texas State University Student Government is comprised of three different branches of government. The three legislative bodies are the Executive Branch, the Legislative Branch, and the Judicial Branch. The Executive Branch is comprised of the President, Vice-President, Chief of Staff, and the Cabinet. The Legislative Branch is made up by three different bodies, The Senate, who holds the majority of legislative power, the House, who has the remaining, and the Freshman Council who can write petitions to Student Government and other organizations. The Judicial Branch is home to the Texas State University Student Government Supreme Court and the Election Board.
